Much has been written about one of our founding members Prof. Bill Freund, and rightly so. He was an incredible intellect, a prolific thinker and writer of Economic History and Development in Africa, and a dear friend to many. The editors of Transformation miss him, professionally and personally. This link to his memorial album, made for a gathering on zoom in August 2020 of around 172 of his family, friends and colleagues, offers both images and testimonies to the person Bill was.
